About Fort Hood
Fort Hood is one of the largest military installations in the United States, headquarters of III Armored Corps and home of the 1st Cavalry Division. It is less a base than a county-sized town with its own traffic, its own rhythm, and tens of thousands of people cycling through it.
Copperas Cove is the town on its western doorstep. A great many of the people who eat with us work on the post, and the stretch of 190 between us is about as short a delivery run as we make.

Fort Hood covers hundreds of square miles, so a single yes or no does not really describe it. The western gates, West Fort Hood and the main cantonment area all sit inside our ten-mile radius. The deeper training areas do not.

Jess's Juice Bar & Grill is an independent restaurant at 1301 E Business Hwy 190 in Copperas Cove — about 6 miles from Fort Hood.
Juice pressed to order with no preservatives or additives. Smoothies and açaí bowls from whole fruit. Breakfast served all day. Tortillas baked here in eight flavors. Burgers, salads, wraps, soups and comfort plates cooked to order.
We cap delivery at ten miles on purpose. Beyond that, food stops arriving the way it left, and we would rather have a smaller map than a worse plate.
